#65 Women's health: Early detection of Preeclampsia at week 10 of pregnancy via a simple blood test

Tel Aviv University is seeking for Dutch partners for validation studies of an assay for the detection of Preeclampsia via a blood test taken at week 10 of pregnancy. Following validation, commercialization will follow.

Prof Noam Shomron and his team, at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, have developed an assay for the detection of Preeclampsia via a blood test taken at week 10 of pregnancy. Further studies revealed that Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is also visible at this early stage of pregnancy. The academic team is now seeking partners for validation studies, and then for commercialization.
