Open Innovation in the Brainport region: some examples

Preceding the valedictory lecture of Prof.dr.ir. Ton Backx, a symposium is organized entitled ‘Open Innovation in the Brainport region: some examples’. This will discuss some typical examples of open innovation activities related to major societal challenges faced and initiated by the Brainport region in the Netherlands. The presentations will focus on specific strengths covered by actors in the Brainport region and provide a glimpse of the collaborations between the knowledge institutes, (regional) government and industrial partners that are involved in the developments.
