Dutch-Israeli cooperation in the field of life science and healthcare is often realized through H2020 and Innovative Medicine Initiative Joint Undertaking (IMI-JU) projects. Israel is an associated country and participates under the same conditions as legal entities from the Member States, such as the Netherlands. The Israeli Dutch Innovation Center (IDIC www.idic.org.il) can help in allocating Dutch and/or Israeli consortium partners for projects being developed, contribute to funded project kickoff meetings and more.
A few examples of cutting edge projects include:
• The Human Brain Project – https://www.humanbrainproject.eu - a 88 million Euros H2020 project coordinated by EPFL with 7 Dutch and 4 Israeli partners. Apr 208-March 2020
