  • Online since 2019-09-06

The NL-IL innovation opportunity: Brightlands is looking for any Israel party that is skilled in automation, robotization or other relevant technologies for large-scale personalized cell therapy, for instance quality control or logistics

The need: Cell therapy is rapidly becoming a major means to address both common diseases and aging. Unfortunately, personalized cell therapy suffers from high cost because of the lack of economy of scale, the many manual production steps, and the scarcity of professional personnel. To make this category of therapies truly effective to mankind, step changes are required in industrialization, through automation and robotization, while assuring quality.

The Dutch infrastructure: Brightlands has one of the largest concentrations of cell therapy manufacturing abilities through its tenant Lonza, which is eager to support the development of suitable technologies. Also, several smaller companies competent machine manufacturers have a presence at the campus or in the vicinity

Any Israeli company that has knowledge in the field is invited to complete our alliance form www.idic.org.il/onboarding clearly elaborating how this societal challenge is being addressed.
